Hearts Pest Management Launches with a Vision

Hearts Pest Management is established with a vision to provide exceptional pest control services, starting in Poway and Escondido. This marks the beginning of a journey driven by a passion for excellence in pest management that was built upon by Gerry Weitz when he purchased Hearts Pest Management in 2002 which helped expand our service area to all of San Diego County and neighboring Temecula and Murrieta regions.

2006

Expansion of Organic Pest Control Services

Hearts Pest Management expands its organic landscape and tree treatments, emphasizing reduced-risk pest control solutions. Our “Focus on Organics” reduced and minimum-risk pest control program for home and garden provides customers with non-pesticide control services for pests in the environment. This expansion helped Hearts Pest Management become the first and only company in Southern California to obtain the EcoWise Certified designation, emphasizing ecological best practices in pest management.

Hearts Receives California EPA I.P.M. Innovator Award

Recognized for innovation in Integrated Pest Management (I.P.M.), Hearts Pest Management receives the prestigious California Environmental Protection Agency I.P.M. Innovator Award. This accolade underscores their leadership in implementing effective and eco-friendly pest control solutions which is a founding principle to this day.
